GILLIAM DESTITUTE CARE MINISTRY, INC.
FOUNDER/PRESIDENT
Gilliam Destitute Care Ministry, Inc. was founded by Annie R. Gilliam in August 2006. Ms. Gilliam went to Zimbabwe, Africa, and while she was there, she visited a village in the Caledonia Farm area. Although the experience was a blessed one, the horrific level of poverty left her feeling heart broken.
During this visit, she learned that the leading cause for these deplorable conditions was that 80% of the people did not work because there were no jobs available. Upon Ms. Gilliam's return to the United States, God inspired her to find a way to help poverty stricken families of the world through what is now the Gilliam Destitute Care Ministry, Inc.
This Ministry has helped many people, organizations, and other ministries in Africa and other nations, including the United States, by meeting spiritual and material needs.
